The new budget phone from Samsung begins it's race in Indian market

Samsung Galaxy M20 smartphone was launched in January 2019. The phone comes with a 6.30-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2340 pixels.

The Samsung Galaxy M20 has the capability of 1.6GHz octa-core (2×1.8GHz + 6×1.6GHz) processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy M20 packs a 13-megapixel (f/1.9) primary camera and a 5-megapixel (f/2.2) secondary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Samsung Galaxy M20 runs Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a 5000mAh non removable battery.

The Samsung Galaxy M20 is a Dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, Proximity sensor and Accelerometer.

Samsung Galaxy M-series models will go on sale through Amazon.in and Samsung E India stores from today, February 5th. The new phones will come in Charcoal Black and Ocean Blue colour options.

Well, the Samsung Galaxy M10 has a suggested price of 7,990 rupees (~$112) for the 2GB/16GB model, while the 3GB/32GB variant will retail for 8,990 rupees (~$126).

The 3GB/32GB Galaxy M20 will retail for 10,990 rupees (~$154), and the 4GB/64GB model has an asking price of 12,990 rupees (~$183). The former price means Samsung is certainly going up against the likes of the ~$112 Redmi 6, ~$127 Redmi S2, the ~$106 Realme C1, and the ~$134 Realme S2. The latter price pits the M20 squarely against devices like Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series and the ~$197 Realme 2 pro.
