Actor Asif Ali Faces Setback Due to Injury During ‘John Denver’ Movie Training

Actor Asif Ali has encountered an unfortunate setback in his preparations for the upcoming film ‘John Denver’ after suffering a severe ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) injury during a training session. The news was shared by the film’s director, Rohith VS, known for his work in films like ‘Adventures of Omanakuttan,’ in a Facebook post on Friday.

Expressing the unfortunate incident, Rohith VS mentioned that Asif Ali had been dedicatedly training for the past six months to attain the physical attributes required for the role of ‘John Denver.’ The actor was actively involved in on-location training for the film’s fight sequence under the guidance of stunt choreographer Uheh Nen and his team.

Due to the severity of the ACL injury, Asif Ali has been advised to undergo surgery and will require a three-month rest for recovery. The director expressed regret about the temporary halt in shooting and bringing the characters of ‘John Denver’ and ‘TikiTaka’ to the screen. Rohith VS conveyed heartfelt wishes for Asif Ali’s peaceful and speedy recovery, expressing anticipation to resume filming once the actor is back in full form.

‘John Denver’ is anticipated to be an action-packed film featuring energetic fight sequences choreographed by Uheh Nen and his team.
