Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) has silently Launched Innova Crysta G Plus variant In India

Toyota Kirloskar Motors (TKM) has silently introduced a new entry-level variant on the popular selling Innova Crysta MPV. The G Plus variant is available only with a diesel engine and it comes in 7 and 8-seat configuration. We are expecting the company to add more features on the new G Plus variant compared to the previous entry-level G model which discontinued due to low demand last year.

Toyota is yet to update its website and brochure. Therefore, the list of standard features offered on the G Plus variant is currently unknown. Having said that, it could get halogen headlamps, air-conditioning, seats with fabric upholstery, power steering, power windows and other basic features. Front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors and seat belt reminder are likely to be offered as standard.

Given the fact that the G Plus is the entry-level trim, it is likely to be powered by the 2.4-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine which produces 148 BHP @ 3,400 rpm and 343 Nm of torque @ 1,400-2,800 rpm. The engine is expected to be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
