Exploring the Enchanting Malabar: 36 Tourism Projects Set to Captivate Visitors in the Next 5 Years

Malabar, with its magical allure, is gearing up to captivate travelers worldwide with an array of projects scheduled to launch in the next five years. Among these initiatives are the creation of a walkway at the Kadalundi Bird Sanctuary, the Malabar Literary Circuit, the Thikkodi Beach project, the Vaikom Muhammed Basheer Memorial, and the development of Beypore and Beyond. Notably, eight projects, including The Natural Learning Centre at Sarovaram, Kuttichira Lake, and Bhat Road Bliss Park, have already been completed in Kozhikode. Several potential tourism hubs, like Karapuzha, have been identified in the region. Tourism Minister Mohamed Riyas had previously proposed a master plan to boost tourism in the area, and with concerns over the Nipah virus subsiding, tourism is resuming its vibrant pace in the Malabar zone. Known for its rich cultural diversity, distinctive cuisine, and vibrant festivals such as Pattambi Nercha, Manjeri Pooram, Puthari Thiruvappana, Kottiyoor Vaishaka Mahotsavam, and Theyyam, Malabar promises an immersive experience for every visitor.
