Maintenance-Induced Changes in Southern Railway’s Kerala-Tamil Nadu Train Services

The Southern Railway has issued notifications regarding alterations to train services due to ongoing maintenance works in the Tiruchchirappalli Division and pre-non interlocking/non-interlocking activities in Tirunelveli. Commuters in Kerala can expect adjustments to various train schedules. Notable changes include the diversion of Train No. 16127 Chennai Egmore Express – Guruvayur Express, which will now traverse via Villupuram, Cuddalore port, Mayiladuturai, Thanjavur, and Tiruchchirapalli, with additional stoppages provided at specified stations. Several trains between Tiruchendur and Palakkad, Palakkad and Tiruchendur, Tiruchchirappalli and Thiruvananthapuram, and Thiruvananthapuram and Tiruchchirappalli will experience partial cancellations and short-terminations on specific dates.

Other trains will be diverted or run via alternative routes during the maintenance period, impacting services between Tirunelveli and Thiruvananthapuram, Tirunelveli and Kollam, Tirunelveli and Bilaspur, Thiruvananthapuram and Tirunelveli, and Jamnagar and Tirunelveli. Passengers are advised to check updated schedules to ensure a smooth travel experience.
