Sabarimala Nada Reopens for Kumbha Masam Puja; Devotees Required to Book Virtual Queue

Today at 5 PM, Sabarimala Nada will reopen for the Kumbha Masam Puja. Melshanthi VN Mahesh Namboothiri, under the guidance of Tantri Kandararu Mahesh Mohanaru, will open the Nada and illuminate the lamps at Sreelakam. The ceremonial process includes descending the Pathinettam Padi and igniting the fire in the homa kunda within the inner courtyard. Devotees will be allowed to ascend the Pathinettam Padi only after this ritual. Notably, there won’t be any special pujas on the opening day.

The schedule for tomorrow includes palliyunarthal at 4:30 am, Nirmalya darshan, and abhisheka at 5 am. Ganapathi homam in the east mandapam follows, along with Neyyabhishekam from 5:30 am to 7 am and 9 am to 11 am. Usha puja commences at 7:30 am, succeeded by Udayastamaya, 25 Kalasham, Kalabhabhishekam, and Ucha puja. The Nada will close at 1 pm and reopen at 5 pm, with Deeparadhana at 6:30 pm, Padi puja, Pushpabhishekam, and Athazha puja at 6:45 pm. The Nada will finally close at 10 pm.

Following the completion of the Kumbha Masam pujas, the Nada will shut down on the 18th at 10 pm. Devotees are required to make virtual queue bookings, and spot booking options are available at Pampa.
