Covid vaccination to be completed in India by December 2021: Union Minister Prakash Javadekar

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has said that the covid vaccination will be completed in India by the end of 2021. Prakash Javadekar’s response came after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized the fact that only three per cent of the 130 crore people received two doses of the vaccine. Prakash Javadekar said that Rahul should focus on the Congress-ruled states where vaccination is in the offing.

He also alleged that non-BJP governments, which say there is no availability of vaccine, did not take the vaccine quota given to 18-44 years of age. He said vaccination will be completed in India before 2021. The Minister also said that the criticism levelled against the Centre’s handling of the covid was a ‘Congress toolkit’.

RahulGandhi alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was responsible for the second wave of covid and he did not even understand what covid was. He had also warned of more covid waves in the country if there was no definite vaccine plan.
