Communal Conflict in Haryana’s Nuh: 393 Arrested, Internet Ban Extended

The situation remains tense in Haryana’s Nuh due to ongoing communal conflict, leading to the arrest of 393 individuals. Currently, 118 people are in custody pending trial related to the clashes. Anil Vij, the Home Minister of Haryana, reported 160 registered FIRs across various districts including Nuh, Gurugram, Faridabad, Palwal, Rewari, Panipat, Bhiwani, and Hisar.

In connection to the Braj Mandal violence, Narender Bijarnia, the Superintendent of Police, stated that 218 individuals have been apprehended in Nuh. The government has extended the suspension of mobile internet and SMS services in Nuh until the following day.

Educational institutions in Gurugram have been permitted to reopen, and a curfew relaxation of 11 hours has been granted.
