K Muraleedharan, Vadakara MP, Hints at Future Statements After Puthuppally Bypolls

Following the recent concerns raised by Ramesh Chennithala over the new Congress Working Committee (CWC) list, K Muraleedharan, Congress leader and Vadakara MP, has indicated his intention to share his thoughts after the Puthuppally by-polls. He has also expressed his willingness to step away from public service once his tenure as a Lok Sabha MP concludes.

Muraleedharan conveyed that he is currently prepared to address inquiries related to the Telangana elections but refrained from commenting on Kerala matters. He highlighted the pending construction of K Karunakaran’s memorial in Thiruvananthapuram, noting his intention to dedicate more attention to it after his Lok Sabha term ends. He revealed plans to disclose further information after September 6.

Meanwhile, Muraleedharan has not divulged whether he will participate in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

He also defended poet K. Satchidanandan’s provocative statement regarding the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM) returning to power in the state. He suggested that, in order to prevent the decline of the communist party, the CPM should not secure another term in power in the state. Muraleedharan interpreted this perspective as reflective of a true communist’s stance.
