G20 Summit: Disruption to Train Services with Cancellation of 207 Trains

In preparation for the G20 summit, Northern Railways has taken the step of canceling 207 train services. Additionally, around 15 trains have been rerouted, and six others will be diverted. This move is expected to affect the services of approximately 300 trains during the event, which is scheduled for September 9, 10, and 11.

Specifically, on September 9, 90 trains were canceled, and on September 10, 100 passenger trains faced cancellations. Most of these trains operate along the routes of Sonipat-Panipat, Rohtak, Rewari, and Palwal in southern Haryana, starting from Delhi.

Furthermore, on September 11, services of the Delhi Rewari Express Special and Rewari-Delhi Express Special trains have been suspended. Some trains that typically originate from or terminate in Delhi will now commence or end their journeys at Ghaziabad or Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station.

The G20 summit, set to take place in Delhi on September 9 and 10, is expected to witness the largest participation in its history within the capital city.
