Thiruvananthapuram: Weekend lockdowns have been enforced rigorous throughout all districts, despite the fact that relaxations were allowed in the state from July 17 forward. On Saturday and Sunday, shops selling necessities will be allowed to open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Hotel takeout and shipments will be prohibited, however home delivery will be permitted.

On Saturday and Sunday, no public transportation will be available. Those travelling by air or by train will be able to produce proof of their travel. When asked, they must present the tickets. Construction operations can only be carried out in accordance with the Covid protocol. They must notify the local police stations.
