New Delhi: Global icon Priyanka Chopra will appear in the highly anticipated Hollywoof action film The Matrix Resurrections, the fourth instalment in the science-fiction franchise. While busy with promotions, PeeCee made sure not to disappoint her Indian fans by speaking about her desire on a recent chat show.
Priyanka Chopra told Emmy-nominated Television Host, Producer, and Journalist Rasha Goel, “You can take me out of India, but you can’t take India out of me.” My culture, or who I am, just sort of follows me around in a bubble wherever I go. As a result, I never feel like I’m away from home. My home is always with me, as is my mandir, my mother is always with me, and my achaar (pickles) is always with me. So you can rest assured that I’m in good hands. “I never feel that way.”
“I also feel it’s been very strategic and I’ve always wanted to balance both industries because there are very few actors in the world who have been able to do that,” Priyanka added.
