Indian Railways Expands Vande Bharat Express Network: Chennai-Bengaluru-Ernakulam Route Announced

Indian Railways is set to enhance its Vande Bharat Express services by introducing inter-state routes connecting major cities in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. The newly proposed route will link Chennai, Bengaluru, and Ernakulam, providing seamless connectivity for travelers across the southern states.

Southern Railway has announced plans to operate eight services connecting these states, including Chennai-Bengaluru and Bengaluru-Ernakulam South routes. Departing from Chennai Central, the train is scheduled to reach Bengaluru at 4 a.m. Subsequently, it will depart from Bengaluru at 4:30 a.m. and reach Ernakulam by 1:30 p.m., ensuring convenient and efficient travel options for passengers.

This expansion marks a significant development in the Indian Railways network, enhancing connectivity and accessibility for commuters traveling between these bustling cities.
