IMD Forecast: Summer Rain Expected in Nine Kerala Districts Over Next Three Days

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast indicating the likelihood of summer rains in nine districts of Kerala over the next three days. These districts include Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Wayanad, Alappuzha, Kannur, Kozhikode, Kasaragod, and Thrissur. While light rainfall is expected in the evenings, the southern districts are not anticipated to experience significant precipitation during this period.

Additionally, with high temperatures predicted across the region, Palakkad district is expected to see the mercury rising to 39 degrees Celsius today, while Kollam and Pathanamthitta districts are forecasted to reach 38 degrees Celsius, and Kottayam, Kozhikode, and Thrissur districts are expected to hit 37 degrees Celsius.
