Action movie review : An exciting action flick with excellent performances

Action is a kollywood action drama. It has hit the theatres on November 15th. The film stars Vishal as the protagonist with a lot of eminent artists in supporting roles. Directed by Sundar C. and produced by R. Ravindran under his banner Trident Arts action is running in theatres with mixed reviews.

Plot

Action deals with the not so secret yet the complicated sides of the links between politicians and terrorists. The unfair fate of sincere politicians who gives their life to serve the people has beautifully narrated in action.

The film further progresses through a set of unpleasant events that occurs in the protagonist’s family and that prompts him to take up a mission that eventually benefits the entire nation.

Performance

Vishal has already proved his skills as an actor. It was a delight to see Tamannah Bhatia showing off her prowess in doing action sequences in a contemporary film. She has already proved it in films like Baahubali. Her character in Action was a synonym for beauty with brain and bravery.

Although it was  a short cameo in the first half Aishwarya Lekshmi has stamped her character to the audience with natural acting.

The antagonists including Akanksha puri, Kabir Duhan Singh and Vincent Asokan could easily garner our hatred. With a supporting cast of Chaya Singh and Yogi Babu, the level of performance was definitely praiseworthy.

Verdict

Coming with the best blend of all cinematic ingredients of an action flick, the film deserves to rule theatres. But unfortunately it is not getting proper attention. Its a very sad fact, because the quality of this film in its  genre is quite commentable. The stunt sequences were brilliant and the way it is cinematographed is outstanding.

With all these positives seeing the film’s rating in Book My Show and such platforms as 65-70 per cent seems really unfair.

So dear movie lovers just take out some time and go for it, I’m sure u will be glued to the screen and your concentration will be definitely in the screen than your popcorn basket.
