Mysterious Death of Malayali Family in California Raises Questions

A cloud of mystery surrounds the tragic demise of a four-member Malayali family from Kollam, Kerala, in San Mateo County, California. The deceased, identified as Anand Henry (42), his wife Alice Priyanka (40), and their twin boys Noah and Nathan (four), were found dead under mysterious circumstances at their residence. Initial reports suggest a possible cause being poisonous gas leaked from a heater.

Anand, the son of Prof G Henry, former principal of Fatima Mata National College in Kollam, had recently resigned from Google to embark on a new entrepreneurial journey. Alice Priyanka, a software engineer and daughter of late Benziger and Juliet, had her mother Juliet visiting them until February 11. The family’s tragic end unfolded on February 12, raising questions and concerns.

The sequence of events began with Juliet’s attempt to contact her daughter and son-in-law via WhatsApp on February 12, receiving no response. Growing anxious, Juliet alerted a relative, who, in turn, sought help from a friend to check on the family. The friend, upon reaching the residence, discovered no signs of forced entry but contacted the police after finding the family members lifeless.

Jerami Surratt, PRO of the San Mateo Police Department, stated that they received a call for a welfare check, but investigations yielded no evidence of forced entry. The cause of the deaths remains undetermined as the investigation is ongoing. The incident occurred on February 12 at 9.15 am US time, adding to the complexity of the unfolding tragedy. As authorities work to unravel the circumstances surrounding this unsettling incident, the community awaits answers to the mysterious demise of this Malayali family in California.
