Bridge construction: 3 trains were cancelled, other services to be regulated today

The bridge construction is undergoing in Malabar has cancelled three train services in Thalassery and Edakkad railway stations. Certain services were shortened and some were delayed considering the bridge works. Thrissur- Kannur Express (16609), Kannur- Shoranur Express (06456) and Kozhikode- Kannur Express will not operate on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Ernakulam- Kannur Express (16305), Chennai- Mangaluru Egmore (16159) and Coimbatore- Mangaluru Express (16323) will end services in Kozhikode. Nagercoil- Mangaluru (16606) service will not conduct service between Vadakara and Mangaluru. Ernakulam- Nizamuddin Mangala (12617) will operate two hours late.

The service will commence only at 12.10 pm. Kochuveli- Lokmanya Tilak Garib Rath Express will start only one hour after the scheduled time. The Kannur- Cheruvathur Express Special (06469) scheduled to begin at 5.30 pm will start only at 7 pm.
