Bajaj Auto has launched the BS6-compliant Pulsar 125 in the Indian market. The new Bajaj Pulsar 125 BS6 is priced at Rs 69.997, ex-showroom (Delhi). The entry-level motorcycle in the Pulsar range is offered in two variants: drum and disc.

The base ‘Drum’ variant of the Pulsar 125 comes with a price hike of around Rs 6,300. The top-spec ‘Disc’ variant of the motorcycle is priced at Rs 74,118; with a price hike of Rs 7,500. All prices are ex-showroom (Delhi).

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon continues to be powered by the same 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, now updated to comply with the BS6 emission norms. It produces 12bhp and 11Nm of torque, identical to its previous BS4 version. The engine is further paired with a five-speed gearbox.

Apart from the BS6 update, the motorcycle remains unchanged otherwise. It continues to feature the same equipment as before. The motorcycle weighs in at 140kilograms, making it the heaviest model in the entire segment.

The new BS6-iteration of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 also carries forward the same styling. This includes the 3D variant logo on the rear cowl, black alloy wheels with neon streaks and the ‘Pulsar’ logo and grab rail both in Neon; among others.

The new (2020) Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon BS6 is offered in a range of colour options. This includes Neon Blue, Solar Red and Platinum Silver.
Bajaj has recently been on a spree updating all its products to comply with the BS6 emission norms. The Pulsar 125 is one of the last remaining models which was left to be updated, with other popular models such as the Dominar 400, Pulsar NS200, Pulsar 220F, RS200 and the 150 Classic, already having received the update.
