Anita Hassanandani Takes A Break From Acting After Birth Of Baby:”My focus right now is my child…. Aaravv is my priority,” tweeted the actress

New Delhi: In her latest tweet Friday evening, Anita Hassanandani rejected reports stating she stopped acting after birth and explained her “first love acting” to focus on the child and that she has recently taken a break from her baby. In Ekta Kapoor’s show Ye Hai Mohabbatein, the actress, who is best known for playing the role of Shagun Arora, “resumes work when she is ready.” Anita recently spoke of “letting her work go” to “focus on being a mother” in an interview with Bombay Times. But, contrary to many media reports, she had said nothing about quitting acting. Anita Hassanandani said this in the interview according to ETimes: “I’d decided to leave the industry and let go of my job whenever I would have a child. I wanted to be a mother always. So this isn’t a pandemic, either I’d have left the sector, pandemic or no pandemic. With my kid, I want to be at home. The last thing I think about right now is honest work. When I’m going to get back, I really don’t know.”

In her latest tweet, the actress clarified that she “never said” that she’s quitting acting: “It’s all over that I’m quitting my first love ACTING. I never said that…. All I said was that my focus right now is my child…. Aaravv is my priority… I will resume work when I’m ready.”
