Minor Rape; Youth arrested in Vadakara
A youth was arrested for raping a minor in a toilet of a religious worship centre. Ansil, a resident of Velloor in Vadakara, was arrested by the Kaduthuruthy Police. According to police, the accused who met the girl through social media raped her several times after promising to marry her.
Recently, the minor came to the worship centre, where he raped her inside the toilet. The police registered a case under the POCSO Act based on the girl’s statement. Ansil was produced before the court and was remanded for 14 days.
