State Government Announces Onam Holiday for Professional Colleges from August 25

In preparation for the upcoming Onam festival, the State Government has declared a holiday for educational institutions, including professional colleges, falling under the Higher Education Department. This holiday period will extend from August 25 to September 3.

The festivities of Onam, spanning 10 days in Kerala, commenced with Atham celebrations on August 20. This significant festival pays tribute to King Mahabali and Vamana.
