Sonu Sood Launches Helpline Number To Help Migrant Workers Reach Home

Mumbai is the most affected city in India from COVID-19. Due to lockdown, many migrant workers and students stuck in several parts of the country. Sonu Sood, who has mostly played negative roles in movies like Dabangg, Simmba, is a real-life hero.

Over the last few weeks, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has arranged the buses to send migrant workers their home. He has sent migrant workers to their homes in states like Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand. He said he will continue sending migrants home until the last one reunites with his family.

Now, Sonu Sood has launched a helpline number 18001213711 for the migrant workers, through which people can reach out to his team for help. He has also launched WhatsApp number 9321472118. Sonu said,

“I was getting a lot of calls. thousands of calls every day. My family and friends were busy collecting the data then we realized we might miss out on a lot of people who we will not be able to approach us. So we decided to open this call centre, it is a toll-free number.”
