UAE Expands Tourism Links: Launches Convenient Bus Service from Ras Al Khaimah to Oman’s Musandam

In a move aimed at enhancing tourism ties between nations, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has initiated a convenient bus service connecting Ras Al Khaimah to Musandam, a picturesque tourist destination in Oman. The inaugural bus journey took place on a Friday, marking the commencement of this international transportation link.

Operated from 8 am to 6 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the bus service offers a seamless travel experience for tourists and travelers. With a ticket price of Dh50, the service ensures affordability, making it an attractive option for those seeking to explore Musandam’s beauty. The travel time between Ras Al Khaimah and Musandam ranges from 2.5 to 3 hours, making it a convenient choice for a day trip or weekend getaway.

This groundbreaking initiative, managed by the Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority, not only provides a new travel option for residents but also acts as the first international bus service originating from Ras Al Khaimah. The bus service follows a well-planned route, starting from the main bus station in Al Dhait South, Ras Al Khaimah, with stops at Rams and Shaam. En route to Musandam Governorate, it halts at strategic points such as Harf, Khada, Bukha, and Tibat before reaching its final destination at Khasab Vilayat.

Anticipated to bolster tourism and cultural exchange, this service is expected to witness an influx of tourists, including those from diverse backgrounds such as the Malayalee community residing in the UAE. With its affordability, efficient schedule, and the promise of a delightful journey, the newly launched bus service is set to strengthen the bond between these neighboring nations while opening up new avenues for exploration and adventure.
