Sachin Tendulkar shares a viral video of a disabled man playing carrom with his foot. Watch

Sachin Tendulkar, the Indian cricket legend, recently took to social media to share an inspiring video of a differently-abled man playing carrom with his feet. Harshad Gothankar is a person who has no hands but is exceptionally talented at playing carrom with his feet. Tendulkar, who was impressed by his skill and determination, shared the video with the hashtag #MondayMotivation.

Gothankar plays carrom with his feet in the video and successfully gets the coins into his pocket. Other players could be seen touching his feet as a sign of respect near the end.

“The difference between the impossible and the POSSIBLE is one’s determination. Harshad Gothankar chose the motto i-m-POSSIBLE for himself. Love his determination to find ways to make things happen, something we can all learn from,” Sachin captioned the video.

People praised Gothankar’s drive and determination in the video, while others praised Tendulkar for bringing his storey to light.

“Superb,” one user said. It demonstrates that talent alone cannot produce extraordinary results. Consistent hard work in the form of practise and a desire to improve oneself are required to be extraordinary.” “Motivation for life!” wrote another. Complete admiration. He should be a Paralympic Gold Medalist whenever the Carom category is inducted.”

Previously, Tendulkar aided Dipti Vishvasrao, a 19-year-old resident of Zarye village in Ratnagiri district, who is now on her way to becoming the village’s first lady doctor.

Despite the fact that she had always been a brilliant student who aspired to be a doctor, achieving her goal was never easy. During the lockdown, she would walk a kilometre every day because her village was so far away, so she could get a network connection and continue her studies online.

Tendulkar came to her aid just as she was about to give up hope. His timely intervention through his foundation, in collaboration with the Seva Sahyog Foundation (SSF), ensured that Dipti is well on her way to becoming the first girl from her village to become a doctor.
