BJP Gears Up for Thrissur: PM Modi’s Event Targets Women Voters

As the Lok Sabha elections draw near, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is strategically focusing on the Thrissur constituency in Kerala for a potential breakthrough. To kickstart its election campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend a women empowerment conference at Thekkinkadu Maidan on January 2. The BJP aims to attract over 2 lakh women attendees, employing a strategy to garner support from women voters across party lines.

Kerala BJP Chief K Surendran highlighted that prominent women from various fields, including ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, MGNREGA workers, entrepreneurs, and social activists, are expected to participate. The event will also provide a platform for women to express their appreciation for the Prime Minister’s historic Women’s Reservation Bill. Additionally, the BJP plans to deploy senior leaders like Home Minister Amit Shah, party national president J P Nadda, and others in various campaign programs in Kerala leading up to the Lok Sabha polls. The NDA will conduct extensive campaign marches, including visits to Christian households with a Christmas message from PM Modi, to strengthen its presence in the state.
