When Priyanka Chopra faced racism in the US

Former Miss World and Bollywood’s acting queen, Priyanka Chopra’s journey is nothing less than inspirational, the actress also left everything behind to starting afresh in Hollywood at the age of 30.

Today, Priyanka is considered as a global icon, who is ruling Bollywood and Hollywood at the same time. But, it wasn’t easy for her. In an interview, PeeCee opened up about facing racism and her struggles in the US. During the interview, actress stated that she has faced struggles but doesn’t want to talk about them as she doesn’t want to be a victim of those situations.

“There was one time when America took so much from me and I was like, ‘Get lost, I’m going back to India’, because I felt too small as a teenager. But it was also because I was insecure. So now when I went back this time, I was a lot more secure in my own feet. The country has given me respect, my family, my husband, my home and a different career that I started in my 30s.”   actress stated.
