KSRTC Achieves Record Daily Revenue Collection of Rs 9.055 Cr

The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has set a new milestone by achieving a record daily revenue collection of Rs 9.055 crore on Saturday, surpassing its previous record of Rs 9.03 crore set on December 11. The Chairman and Managing Director of KSRTC lauded the collective efforts of the staff, management, and officials for this remarkable achievement. The record-breaking revenue is attributed to strategic initiatives, including the introduction of new buses, services, and special services during the Sabarimala season.

Despite this success, KSRTC aims to further enhance its daily revenue generation and has set a target of reaching Rs 10 crore. However, challenges such as delays in the arrival of additional buses are being addressed, with plans to deploy more buses under the Net Cost Contract (NCC) and Gross Cost Contract (GCC).
