Atta halwa recipe

This mouth watering Halwa recipe made from whole wheat flour is  an easy recipe to cook. So today we have the recipe of Atta halwa.

Ingredients

  • 500 gms whole wheat flour
  • 300 gms ghee
  • 500 gms sugar
  • 100 ml water
  • 50 gms raisins
  • 5 gms cardamom (coarsely ground)
  • 10 gms almonds, sliced
  • 5 gms pistachios (for garnishing), sliced

Ghee, a wonder remedy for many health issues

Preparation

Boil water and sugar in a pan. Make sure sugar is dissolved, and turn off the heat. Set aside.

Take a pan in low medium heat, add ghee after butter is melted add whole wheat flour. Keep mixing and roast the flour, till it turns light brown and have nice sweet smell .

After it is roasted well add the syrup, keep it for  7-8 minutes. Make sure there is no lumps
