Yesteryear actress Jaya Bachchan lashed out at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Ravi Kishan over his remarks about the existence of drug culture in the Indian film industry, Actress Kangana Ranaut has raised the issue of the safety of outsiders in the entertainment industry. Jaya, who expressed her disappointment about the remarks made by BJP MP and actor Ravi had opined that people just can’t spoil the image of the entire industry.
Kangana reacted strongly to her tirade in Rajya Sabha and asked whether the veteran actress would have said the same thing if her family members were in the same situation.
“Jaya ji would you say the same thing if in my place it was your daughter Shweta beaten, drugged and molested as a teenage, would you say the same thing if Abhishek complained about bullying and harassment constantly and found hanging one day? Show compassion for us also,” Kangana said in her tweet.
