Kozhikode District Imposes Stricter Measures: Shift to Online Classes Amid Nipah Outbreak

Kozhikode district authorities have mandated a shift to online classes for all educational institutions until further notice. Admittance of students to physical educational institutions is prohibited, as decided during a Nipah review meeting aimed at intensifying containment measures. This directive encompasses all types of educational establishments, including tuition centers and coaching centers. Additionally, students are not required to attend Anganwadis (childcare centers) and Madrasas.

Notably, the dates for public examinations will remain unchanged for now. The District Collector has indicated that any necessary adjustments to examination schedules will be made promptly following government instructions.
