Massive fire breaks out at Hindustan Petroleum plant in Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam∙ Massive fire breaks out at Hindustan Petroleum Plant (HPCL) in Andhra Pradesh. Footage emerged of heavy smoke rising from inside the plant. The news agency reported that the fire brigade has started the firework at the spot.

Divisional Police Commissioner Aishwarya Rostagi said the fire broke out following an explosion in the third unit of the oil refinery. Five fire brigade units are trying to set fire to the spot. More units will be delivered. The cause of the fire is unclear. They also said no casualty has been reported so far.
