Amitabh Bachchan reflects on his 52-year career in Bollywood

Today marks the 52nd anniversary of the release of megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s first film, ‘Saat Hindustani.’ Bachchan celebrated this special day by taking a trip down memory lane on his Instagram account.

He shared a monochrome throwback photo with a nostalgic caption, also recalling the date he signed his first film.

“I signed my first film “Saat Hindustani” on February 15, 1969, and it was released on November 7, 1969…52 Years… TODAY,” he wrote.

“And the most brilliant chapter in Indian cinema’s history began,” actor Tisca Chopra said.

“Thank you, God, for February 15th, 1969,” actor Abhishek Banerjee added.

On the work front, Amitabh will be seen in ‘Goodbye,’ co-starring with Neena Gupta. He is also in ‘Brahmastra,’ co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, as well as ‘Mayday,’ ‘Jhund,’ ‘Good Bye,’ and a remake of ‘The Intern.’
