Condition of roads in Kerala improved : CM Pinarayi Vijayan

Kannur :Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the roads in Kerala have got a new face during the tenure of this government. He was speaking at the inauguration of Pinarayi Hospital – Arathilkavu – Venduttai Compounder Shop Road online. Roads are being built that will last for more years. Flyovers or bridges were built in all the major cities. The CM also said that highway development has become a reality.

The Chief Minister’s Rural Road Rehabilitation Fund has been used to rehabilitate rural roads and facilitate the movement of people. The government ensured the development and welfare of the people of the country. Thousands of projects have already been completed. Roads damaged during floods were repaired at a cost of 1783 crore. Roads were improved at a cost of `1470 crore from Kifbi and` 850 crore from Nabad.

The Pinarayi Hospital – Arathilkavu – Venduttai Compound Shop was developed at a cost of `13.58 crore with the Central Road Fund. 10.7 km of road has been upgraded. 17 new culverts were constructed. In addition, extra width tarring has been done on the town area and turnings.
