Ingredients

1 ½ litres of milk

2 to 3 tablespoons arrowroot powder

¼ teaspoon turmeric powder

4 tablespoons sugar

½ teaspoon vanilla essence

2 small bananas

1 apple

1 pomegranate

10 dates

4 tablespoons honey

Preparation

In a bowl, mix arrowroot powder with two spoons of milk until well combined.

Boil the remaining milk in a large vessel. Once boiling, add the arrowroot mix and stir.

Add a pinch of turmeric powder for color and adequate sugar, stirring until it boils well.

Add vanilla essence and switch off the flames. Allow it to cool.

Cut fruits into small pieces. Remove seeds from the dates and slice them into tiny pieces.

Arrange glasses for the pudding. Layer the fruit slices, dates, and milk mixture.

Pour honey over the layers and refrigerate for at least half an hour before serving. Enjoy the natural sweetness and textures of the fruits without using custard powder.
