Some OTT platforms shows pornographic contents says Supreme Court
After hearing a petition over web series ‘Tandav’, the Supreme Court said that some OTT platforms show “pornographic content” at times, and there should be a mechanism to screen such shows.

“A balance has to be struck as some OTT platforms are also showing pornographic materials on their platforms,” the top court said.
During the hearing, a bench of Justices Ashok Bhushan and R Subhash Reddy enquired about Centre to place before it the draft guidelines on digital platforms, and fixed hearing on the anticipatory bail application of Amazon Prime’s India head Aparna Purohit.
