Oommen Chandy tests positive for covid 19

Former Chief Minister of Kerala and Congress leader Oommen Chandy has been tested positive for covid 19. He was under quarantine due to symptoms .His  relatives informed that although his health condition was satisfactory, he would be shifted to a private hospital.

Oommen Chandy was diagnosed with the virus after the election campaign was over. He was UDF candidate in Puthuppally, was active in the election campaign across the state.

Earlier today Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also tested positive for covid 19. He has been shifted to medical college.
