CM’s words

The state is going through a very serious situation. Covid proliferation continues to be strong. Today, Covid confirmed 41953 people. 1,63,321 samples were examined. The test positivity rate is 25.69. It has been confirmed today that 58 deaths in the last few days were due to Kovid-19. Measures will also have to be tougher in the event of a Kovid outbreak.

These issues were discussed in today’s review. Ward level committees and the Rapid Response Team are working well in most places. It intends to involve local medical students in such activities. Medical students are also those who have been vaccinated. All the officers who were on election duty can assist in this matter and they will now be given the task. There are various opinions on taking the second dose of the vaccine. According to the latest study report. The second dose of the vaccine is best taken three months later. So it means not rushing to get vaccinated earlier.

There are currently no problems with the oxygen supply. There is no large-scale famine. Necessary oxygen will be delivered to private hospitals. Oxygen is an important commodity that tends to be stored in excess. The health department should look at the number of patients and ensure that the required oxygen is delivered. It should be implemented flawlessly without any lapse.

A problem seen in the review or Gath is the increasing number of patients in Alappuzha. There will be a special inspection. Those of our medical students who have completed their studies are waiting to register with the Medical Council. As it is a very delayed process, they will be given temporary registration and released. CFLTCs are currently in demand. Lodges and hosts will be required for more CFLTCs due to the state-wide disease situation.
