Kerala Lockdown; 9 days Guidelines released

Thiruvananthapuram; The government has issued lockdown guidelines to be implemented in the state from May 8. Central and state government offices will not function except for essential services. But the following Central Government Departments and Offices will function.

Armed Forces Division, Treasury, c. N. G, L. P, G, P. N. G, Disaster Management, Power Generation and Distribution, Postal Department, Post Offices, n. I. C, Meteorological Department, Food Corporation of India, Doordarshan, All India Radio, Central Water Commission, M.Sc. P. C. Central Government agencies and agencies such as S, Airport Authority of India, Airport, Seaport and Railways.

Health, AYUSH, Revenue, Local Government, Public Distribution, Industry, Labor, Zoo, I.P. Department of State Governments such as Mission, Irrigation, Animal Husbandry, Social Justice, Printing, Insurance, Medical Services, Police, Excise, Home Guard, Civil Defense, Fire Brigade, Disaster Management, Forest, Jail, District Collectorates, Treasuries, Electricity, Water Resources and Sanitation.

Up to 20 people can attend pre-arranged weddings following the Covid protocol. The information should be reported to the police station in advance and registered on the covid Vigilance Portal. Funeral services are also permitted for 20 people. This too must be registered on the covid Vigilance Portal.

Hospitals and various institutions in the health sector have licenses. Activities such as agriculture, horticulture, fisheries and animal husbandry will be allowed. It can operate ration shops, grocery stores, vegetable and fruit shops, dairy products, fish and meat outlets and bakeries. All shops must close by 7.30pm.

Banks, insurance and financial institutions can make transactions from 10 am to 1 pm. It must be paid at two o’clock.

Media institutions can work.
Petrol pumps, gas agencies, cable service and DTH are licensed to operate. Production centers and distribution centers for essential goods can function. There will be no road or water transport services. Metro trains also do not operate. There will be no impediment to the movement of goods. All educational, coaching, training and research institutions must be closed. Volunteers can travel for covid 19 activities.

The health sector can work

Government and private sector hospitals, laboratories and allied medical equipment manufacturers can operate

There is no travel ban for employees in these areas

Departments of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries may be staffed with regulated personnel

There is no impediment to the collection and marketing of perishable agricultural products

Industrial and private establishments must be closed

Ration shops may operate

Food shops may operate

Animal feed shops can be opened

All establishments must close by 7.30 p.m.

Home delivery should be encouraged

Banks and other financial institutions can provide the service from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Newspapers, cable TV and DTH can work

Provides services such as Internet, IT, telecommunications, etc.

Services are available online

Petrol and LPG companies can operate

May work for electricity and allied establishments

Refrigerated storage and warehouse may work

Private security firms can work

Manufacture, distribution and marketing of masks, sanitizers and related cleaning products are uninterrupted.

The courier service can be operated

Toll booth and fishing can work

Manufacturing centers of essential materials can operate

Manufacturing centers for export products can operate

There will be airline and train services

There will be no metro
