Operation Java is set to release on May 15 as ZEE Keralam World Television Premiere. Sea Kerala will be released on May 15 at 7 pm. The film will be released on the Zee5 OTT platform along with the World Television premiere.
Director Tarun Murthy had earlier said that the film is gearing up for an OTD release.
The Malayalam satellite digital rights of the film have been acquired by Zee Group.
The film, which is based on major cybercrimes in Kerala and Tamil Nadu, will be screened in theaters 75 days before its world television premiere. In the early days of the Kovid crisis, the film was screened as House Full.
The film is being produced by Padma Uday under the banner of V Cinemas International. Starring Vinayakan, Balu Varghese, Lukman, Shine Tom Chacko, Binu Pappu, Irshad Ali, Prashant Alexander, Deepak Vijayan, P. Balachandran, Baiju, and Mathews Thomas. The film is directed by Faiz Siddique and the music is composed by Jake Bijoy. The lyrics are penned by Joy Paul.
The script of the film was completed after months of research on major crimes in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Kerala Police Investigation Method. Collection of scientific evidence. Tumb discovery was used for the film.
