A huge mountain in Saudi Arabia was split by lightning

Riyadh: A huge mountain in Saudi Arabia split in two due to the strong thunderstorm of the previous day. The incident took place last Wednesday in southern Saudi Arabia. The video was shot and posted by Iman Dean, a Twitter user. ‘Have you ever thought that lightning can split a huge rock on top of a mountain? He posted the video with the caption ‘This video is the answer to that’.

In the two related videos, the first scene is of a powerful lightning bolt descending from the sky to the earth. It then shows scenes of a giant rock and a broken mountain shattered by the impact of lightning. If the first is a visual shot from a great distance, the second is filmed after visiting the scene

Lightning is a strong current flowing through clouds or from clouds to Earth due to friction with each other. This electricity reaches the earth through air, which becomes a conductor at high voltage. According to the US National Weather Service, the thunderstorm is expected to reach 300 million volts. We must remember that the voltage of the electricity we use at home is 230 volts.
