E-pass request to go for sex ‘; The arrested applicant made the police laugh!

Kannur: Following the announcement of the lockdown, the police have introduced an e-pass system for travel permits. The police receive thousands of applications every day. But most of these are for unnecessary trips. Such applications are rejected by the police.

But the police were shocked to see the e-pass application received on Kannur last day. A native of Irinavu wants to have sex in a place in Kannur in the evening. That’s it. After reading the application, the police handed over the information to the ASP. The city police were also instructed to handcuff the party.

Soon after, the police picked up the applicant, who had made a strange request. The party was sent to the ASP office in Kannur. It was only after questioning the party that the police officers came to know about the incident. The detainee had written that he wanted to leave the ‘six o’clock’ in the evening. However, at the time of writing, ‘Six’ is sex.

The application was submitted without realizing the error that occurred while typing. This is what happened. Upon realizing this, the police released the applicant.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the travel pass system introduced by the police for travel should not be misused. One lakh applications were received within 12 hours. Giving passes to so many applicants would defeat the very purpose of the lockdown.
