Mystery around Unni Rajan P Dev’s wife sucide

Relatives allege mystery in the death of actor Unni Rajan P Dev’s wife. Unni, son of late actor Rajan P. Dev. Priyanka’s brother Vishnu alleged that mental and physical torture was the reason for her death. Priyanka was found hanging at home two days ago.

Priyanka’s relative Reshma revealed that Unni used to beat Priyanka over dowry issues. In the initial days, Priyanka used to hide domestic violence issues from her family. But when the torture became unbearable, she filed a complaint with the police said Reshma.

Unni and Priyanka were in love. So they were happy when they started a new life together. But later unni started selling Priyanka’s jewellery for his needs. Her mother used to transfer money for unni as per his demand. But Priyanka didn’t tell us these matters earlier” she said

After selling everything possessed by Priyanka, he beat up her and threw her out of his house. She was cruelly beaten up, Bite marks and Bruises were found on her back. Priyanka Had recorded some visuals of Unni attacking her, Reshma added

Police have registered a case of unnatural death. The body will be postmortem at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. Vattapara CI informed that further action will be taken after that. The marriage took place a year and a half ago. They lived in Angamaly after marriage. Relatives say the harassment has only been going on for four to five months.

According to the family, the girl committed suicide due to mental and physical abuse. The family members have doubts as to whether Priyanka and her husband Unni had spoken on the phone after the complaint was lodged. It is suspected that Priyanka committed suicide due to such threats
