The Union Ministry of Health has said that the spread of covid in the country is declining. Covid cure rate rose to 83.83%. The Ministry of Health said the positivity rate was below 20%.
The 12 states in the country account for 80% of covid cases. The Ministry of Health has said that cases have been rising sharply in the Malappuram, Palakkad, and Kollam districts of Kerala for the past two weeks and that more restrictions are needed in these areas.
Mucosal mycosis has been shown to be associated with an increased risk of diabetes mellitus. Apart from the northern Indian states, 60 cases have been reported in Telangana, the health ministry said.
A high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi convened today to assess the covid situation in the country. Modi suggested that tests should be increased in areas with high test positive rates and that restrictions should be tightened in areas where the spread of the disease is severe.
