Mortal remains of Soumya Santhosh killed in rocket attack in Israel reaches Delhi

New Delhi: The mortal remains of Soumya Santhosh, who was killed in a rocket attack in Israel, reached New Delhi on Saturday morning. Her body is being repatriated through New Delhi and will reach Kerala today itself.

The body reached Delhi by a chartered aircraft from Israel and Union minister V Muraleedharan and Rony Yedidia Clein, Israel’s deputy envoy, received the body and paid floral tributes.

The body will be flown to Kerala by Air India flight and will reach Kochi by noon. It will be taken to Keerithode in Idukki district and handed over to Soumya’s relatives.

Soumya, a native of Idukki Keerithode, who worked as a caretaker in Ashkelon, Israel, was killed in a Hamas shelling on Tuesday.
