Covid patients die due to lack of oxygen again in Tamil Nadu. Six people, including a pregnant woman, died at the Madurai Rajaji Government General Hospital.
The incident took place at noon. The oxygen supply to the hospital was depleted. Oxygen was immediately delivered to the tanker lorry and the supply was restored. During this time, six patients on the ventilator died. Rajaji is a hospital that treats more than 1500 covid patients. Relatives of the patients protested on the hospital premises after it became clear that the oxygen supply had been cut off due to the death.
