Prithviraj makes a strong statement; Says he is getting ‘desperate’ messages from people in Lakshadweep

Prithviraj Sukumaran has shared a big message about the issue taking place in Lakshwadeep. He had stated that he frequently receives messages from people living on the island to bring the issue to light.

Lakshadweep is an island located in the Arabian Sea. It is a Union Territory. Recently, a lot of reports surfaced on social media stating that people living on the island are unhappy with the latest reforms set up by the new administrator of the Union Territory.

Prithviraj has now raised his voice for the people of the Island. The actor has written a long post concerning the issue.

The actor expressed his love for the island. He shared memories of the island during lucifer shoot days. The actor wrote, “I spent a good 2 months in Kavaratti and made memories and friends for the rest of my life. Two years ago, I went back to portray my directorial debut Lucifer as the most challenging sequence.

He added, “Over the past two days, I’ve been receiving disappointing messages from people I know and don’t know from these islands, requesting that I do what I can to bring public attention to what’s going on there and sometimes request ing.”

Fans are also speaking for his post. Prithviraj was the first celebrity to talk about the issue. His Instagram followers put the problem in light.

One of his followers wrote, “Proudly saying that u r a responsible citizen in the country.”

Prithviraj ended his post with a positive note by writing the words, “I have faith in our system and even more faith in our people. So please, to whomsoever it may concern, do listen to the voice of the people of Lakshwadeep, trust them to know what is better for their lands.”
