Kerala logs 28,798 new COVID cases
Though there is a slight decline in the spread of covid in the state, concern continues to be raised in Malappuram. Even today, more than 4,000 new patients in the district. Today, 4751 people have been confirmed by The Malappuram covid. More than 3,000 patients were reported in Ernakulam and Palakkad.
Ernakulam 3444, Palakkad 3038, Kollam 2886, Thiruvananthapuram 2829, Thrissur 2209, Alappuzha 2184, Kozhikode 1817, Kottayam 1473, Kannur 1304, Idukki 1012, Pathanamthitta 906, Kasargod 572 and Wayanad 373 were confirmed in the districts today.
Over the past 24 hours, 1,44,372 samples have been tested.
The test positivity rate is 19.95. Routine sample, Sentinel sample, CBNAT, Truant, POCT. PCR, RT A total of 1,91,68,987 samples have been tested so far, including LAMP and antigen testing.
No one from the UK, South Africa or Brazil has confirmed covid-19 in the last 24 hours. Covid 19 has so far been confirmed by 126 people from the UK (116), South Africa (9) and Brazil (1). Of these, 124 tested negative. A total of 11 people were diagnosed with the genetically modified virus. Today, 184 of those diagnosed with the disease are from outside the state. 26,860 people were infected through contact. The source of the 1663 contact is not clear.
