Meanwhile, four persons were taken into custody after sending a message to Praful K. Patel’s personal mobile number. Three students were taken from Agathi Island and Shefeek, a resident of Bitra Island. They were later released.

The BJP national leadership has not yet commented on the incident on the island. Many senior leaders declined to answer questions about this. The party is of the view that the present is only a political controversy.

At the same time, Praful K. said that many of the controversies sit in the draft laws and that the final law will come only after the opinion of the people is known. Patel’s stand. There is still time for people to comment on the beef ban, gangster law, etc. His office also said that objections could be communicated to the administrator.

Praful Khoda Patel was in charge of the Home Department while Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Khoda was given the department when Home Minister Amit Shah was arrested in the Sohrabuddin case in 2010. Though loyal to the Prime Minister, many in the BJP nationalist leadership are not interested in him.

This came after he was accused in a case relating to the suicide of Lok Sabha member Mohan Delkar from Dadra Nagar haveli. Delkar’s suicide note names Khoda. Delkar was found dead at a hotel in Mumbai on February 22, 2021.
