Thiruvananthapuram: The lockdown in the state is likely to be extended for another week. Health experts say the restrictions should continue until the test positivity rate drops below 10 per cent.
At the same time, the government is trying to implement the restrictions effectively by granting some concessions. Further concessions will be given in the basic and construction sectors.
The government announced that lockdown restrictions would be relaxed from May 31 after the test positivity rate in Delhi fell below 2 per cent.
