The World Health Organization (WHO) said the covid outbreak in India is a concern and people should adopt the vaccine as soon as possible. Although the spread of the covid disease has started to decline in many parts of the country, WHO South-East Asia Region Director Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh said.
‘Take the covid vaccine at the first available opportunity. We can’t predict the next surge but we can stop it’– he said. He added that the second wave has placed a huge burden on the health sector.
